Biography

Eneida Roman is the President & CEO of We Are ALX (Formerly Amplify Latinx), a business organization that is advancing the American economy by championing leadership representation, economic mobility, and public policy solutions that consider the immense contributions of Latino Americans to the fabric of our nation. She is a seasoned and highly respected business leader who has gained national recognition for her outstanding work to advance women and Latinos across various sectors. An innovator, natural connector, and small business owner for over two decades, she is determined to strengthen the U.S. economy by maximizing the potential of underrepresented communities. 

Her entrepreneurial spirit and expertise as an attorney, organizational psychologist, and as co-founder of We Are ALX are a testament to her commitment to adaptability and to building bridges. Eneida has played a pivotal role in leading We Are ALX with unwavering conviction and cultural competence in the journey to Amplify Latino eXcellence across industries. The organization has grown ten-fold under her stewardship as she continues expanding opportunities to advance its mission. 

Eneida’s meaningful dedication and impact have earned her numerous accolades and recognition in her field. She is a distinguished Fellow of the American Bar Foundation, an honor limited to just one percent of lawyers licensed to practice in each jurisdiction. Among other local and national distinctions, Eneida has been recognized as a BBJ Power 50 Changemaker, Top Latino Attorney by Latino Leaders Magazine, Most Powerful Latina in the US by ALPFA, and most recently, as a Pinnacle Award recipient by the Greater Boston Chamber of Commerce, further highlighting her significant contributions and influence across sectors.

In addition to her professional achievements, Eneida actively serves in various important roles. She is a Governor Appointee to the Massachusetts Governor’s Latino Empowerment Council and the SDO’s Diverse and Small Business Advisory Board. She serves as the Chair of the Permanent Commission on the Status of Latinos in MA, following her appointment by the MA Senate President. Eneida has held prominent leadership positions within prestigious organizations such as the American Bar Association, the Hispanic National Bar Association, and the Massachusetts Bar Association. Currently, she shares her expertise and insights with local and national councils focused on advancing women and people of color. She also serves as a board member to Greater Boston Chamber of Commerce Women’s Advisory Board, MassINC’s Board of Directors, ALPFA National Board, Boys and Girls Club of Boston, and Eastern Bank’s Board of Ambassadors.
