Biography

Eneida Roman is a trained attorney and organizational psychologist. She is co-founder, and the President & CEO of Amplify Latinx, a non-partisan, collaborative institution advancing Latino-American leadership representation, economic prosperity, and civic engagement. Eneida is a nationally recognized business leader with more than 20 years of experience in law, organizational development, conflict resolution, and public policy. She is known as a catalytic pacesetter and an ardent champion of advancing women and Latinos across sectors nationwide.

Eneida leads Amplify Latinx with conviction, cultural competence, and with a lens on racial and ethnic equity for Latinos across sectors. Amplify Latinx is a highly impactful and culturally responsive organization that is driving broad systemic change by perpetuating a new era of Latino prosperity through its three pillars of leadership advancement, economic prosperity, and policy solutions that close opportunity gaps for historically underserved communities. Amplify convenes, connects, and educates a national high-impact leadership network of professionals, entrepreneurs, change-makers, and advocates to advance public policy focused on the betterment of the Latino community. 

Eneida stewards Amplify’s strategic agenda to foster economic opportunity by strengthening inclusive entrepreneurship and by offering a robust business program for innovative planning, education, mentoring, and championing of Latino innovators and Latino-owned enterprises. Amplify also drives leadership advancement by giving visibility to Latino leaders and by increasing Latino representation in wealth-building careers and decision-making roles in government, advisory, nonprofit, and corporate boards. Last, but not least, Amplify’s focus on closing these opportunity gaps is driven by a non-partisan public policy blueprint aimed at finding equitable solutions to systemic barriers that have historically limited ample Latino progress. Amplify actively cultivates a civically engaged network of Latinos and allies to create awareness, educate, and champion public policy solutions that yield Latino prosperity. 

Eneida has served in prominent board leadership roles in the American Bar Association, the Hispanic National Bar Association, and the Massachusetts Bar Association. Eneida is a Governor Appointee to the Governor’s Latino Empowerment Council and the Massachusetts Workforce Training Fund Advisory Board. She currently serves on the HOPE National Council, Latino Victory’s National Committee, the Greater Boston Chamber of Commerce Women’s Advisory Board, the Boston Women’s Workforce Council, MassINC’s Board of Directors, ALPFA National Board and on Eastern Bank’s Board of Ambassadors.

Eneida is a globally focused leader who has received numerous recognitions for her intersectional work and dedication to equitable public policy. Among other notable accolades, Eneida is a Fellow of the American Bar Foundation, a distinction limited to one percent of lawyers licensed to practice in each jurisdiction. Eneida has also been distinguished nationally as a Top Latino Attorney by Latino Leaders Magazine for several consecutive years. She is admitted to practice law in the Massachusetts Supreme Judicial Court, Massachusetts Federal District Court, First Circuit Court of Appeals, and the Supreme Court of the United States.
